Venus  

Venus represents how we seek to love, how we seek to attract and be attractive, how we express love and intimacy, and how we relate to money. It also suggests, by sign and house, our aesthetic tastes for beauty, our potential for creative expression, our social style with others and our expressions of friendship. Venus may hold our early imprints regarding love and our loveableness. The placement of Venus tells us something about where love is needed in this lifetime, where significant relationships are being acted out and where we will learn significant lessons in love and relationship. It also suggests what we value in the people and things that we love.

If we respond poorly to Venusian energy, we could fall into traps of vanity or lack of clarity around relationship needs. We might retreat from positive relationships because of feelings of inadequacy, unattractiveness or unlovability. When we respond well to Venus, we understand our love and relationship needs and form harmonious relationships in which we feel loved and cared for. We also are in touch with and satisfy our needs for beauty, creativity, and aesthetic harmony, and ultimately arrive at a sense of inner peace.
