A child born with Moon in Gemini arrives with a natural curiosity about the world around him. He will love books, language, storytelling, and information gathering. Interests will be many and varied. This child should be encouraged to explore a wide variety of interests, but the wealth of possibilities may appear so vast to this child, that he may not naturally be inclined to develop any one interest in depth. He may need help with learning to focus so that gifts and talents do not get squandered superficially. Gemini is facile with language, reading, and writing, but may also be very adept with the hands. Crafts and handiwork may help to make this child soothed. Physical outlets, too, are important, for releasing the nervous energy that can course through Gemini.

The emotional nature of Gemini Moon changes like the wind. Moods are likely to shift often. Gemini Moons may tend to gloss over feelings because of their changeable nature; therefore, Gemini Moon children should be taught to verbalize or to write about feeling states in order to get in touch with them. Feeling feelings rather than intellectualizing them should be encouraged. Gemini Moons of all ages need to communicate feelings order to make sense of Gemini's "monkey mind". Introducing meditation and the art of stillness would be of enormous benefit to the Gemini Moon child.

Gemini Moon children will feel at home and nurtured when their intellect and thirst for knowledge are supported. Keep lots of books in the home, and make regular trips to the library. Supply journals for writing, and encourage conversation around feelings as well as around ideas. Support learning and exploring an area in depth. Allow this child to explore and to be active, but set a reasonable pace so that he learns to balance his high-wired energy with relaxation and reflection. This child can have great gifts of conversation, teaching, learning, and intellect. Teach him to focus his interests, to handle his energy well, and to verbalize his feelings, and you will have a happy Gemini Moon child.
