accidents and energy resources

Postby chrysalis » Thu Apr 29, 2010 3:06 pm

What's up w. all the accidents happening concerning our current energy resources? Mining collapse in W.Virginia, another mining related incident in Kentucky today and one in China a couple of weeks ago. Then there's the burning torch in the Gulf of Mexico ... would this be Neptune related? Saturn/Pluto opposition? Or somebody just trying to give us a wake up call? Or both? You'll have to excuse my Scorpio rising today. Just a little bothered by it on so many different levels. The oil spill in the Gulf especially. I am encouraged by the news that the wind farm off of Martha's vineyard might actually happen. Just wondering, astrologically speaking, how this might correlate.

Hello Chrysalis!

Yes, there has certainly been a lot happening! I'd attribute much of this type of activity to a recent station of Pluto (retrograde) which is within 7 degrees of Saturn, also retrograde at this time. You are correct the oil is ruled by Neptune. Neptune is in Aquarius, ruled traditionally by Saturn and now also by Uranus. Saturn and Uranus just had another exact opposition. So, yes, the big players are at it! For our country, it is interesting to note that Pluto is opposing the nation's Jupiter in Cancer. Big challenges and big changes? Transformation of beliefs?

Thanks for bringing up the topic, chrysalis! I hope you are doing well. :)

Just another point regarding the huge oil spill... Chiron's recent entry into Pisces, ruled by Neptune. The traditional ruler of Pisces, Jupiter, is also in Pisces now. Uranus is ready to make his exit from Pisces this month. Interesting!

Yes! very interesting about Uranus exiting Pisces and Chiron. Something else that happened this weekend - a record breaking rain in Nashville, TN, up to 15 inches + of rain on Saturday! Pisces a water sign - hm. I guess I can look forward to MORE water in my basement! ha ha (Pisces is my 4th house). I guess it's just nature's way of closet cleaning. It's never fun but worth it in the end, I guess. I sincerely HOPE there is some sort of shift going on in regards to how we are thinking about our natural resources. Only time will tell. Thanks for taking a look!

Chiron stations retrograde in Pisces on Friday. I wonder if that's any indication that BP MIGHT SHUT THAT THANG OFF any time soon?! :x

I hope you are correct, chrysalis. It is very hard to understand why it is taking so long to stop that gusher. Unbelievable. We'll be watching!

Beth,
Can you tell me when would be a good day/time to do a mass healing prayer day for the Gulf of Mexico? It's just an idea I had, and I thought astrologically speaking, one day might be a stronger day than another.
Thanks,
Chrysalis

Good thought, chrysalis! I'd like to do that, too. I think prayer can be powerful anytime with sincere intentions, but I'd look especially to the Summer Solstice, which is a turning point in the year; on that day the Sun will trine Neptune (very spiritual). Additionally, the Full Moon/Lunar eclipse would also be a very powerful time to send out prayers/thoughts/ healing vibrations. Let's all make a point to do so on those days especially! Thanks, chrysalis!

:) Hi Beth,

This has been an eventful year, so far. In the interest of not hijacking this thread I will tell you about it in a post in the "Mini Reading Request" section.
